Every year Christmas is celebrated with great joy, enthusiasm and love in the hearts of several people. Lourdes Convent High School celebrated Christmas with a grand and exuberant Christmas Fest for the 21st as well as 22nd of December 2019. The school as well as the ground was decorated wonderfuly by the students of Creative Club. Stalls for various food items and games were set up.
The program commenced with the Eco Club Captain Dilzer Kasad giving a Christmas message. Adding to the Christmas spirit the students sang a melodious carol. A dance by the tiny tots of Jr. Kg was followed by other events.
To put forward the true essence and spirit of Christmas, a skit depicting the birth of Jesus Christ was performed which involved dance perfomances by students of various standards. The Santa was welcomed by a dance performance by the students with an overwhelming amount of joy and excitement which was followed by the grand carnival being the highlight of the day. A hindi as well as a gujurati carol was sung accompanied by the curtain call. The night was full of joy and excitement and proved to be a magnificent welcome to the new year.
